Pray for not ever requiring customer service

The device works well... until you have a problem. My device came with a manufacturing problem that was reported at Asus Taiwanese website (http://www.asus.com/tw/News/IOkzw7fDcerZuFoJ). All contacts with Asus Support Centre are answered only after 3 working days, making everything very slow to be resolved. It took more than 2 weeks after reporting the problem for the collection to take place. Two more weeks to hear any news from engineers. Now, despite the device being within the warranty period, and this terrible service quality, they still want to charge expensive repair fees.At padfoneclub forum - http://www.padfoneclub.com/pl/forum/forum_viewforum.php?13 - you can see that many users had problems with device and the vast majority is very unhappy with the service. One friend to whom I recommended the device also experienced serious delays having his phone screen replaced in Hong Kong after dropping it from a small height. So it seems the problem is world-wide.Besides this terrible support, note that if anything happens to the phone, you can do nothing with the station. So despite the cool design it is not very functional for this reason.Very frustrating experience overall. Three months using the phone and three months waiting for repair.

-low quality sound, definetly not impressive-easy scratch phone display when sliding in if has some dirt on it from pocket or what, even it has gorilla glass I have manage to leave a mark on next day of having padfone2-battery could be stronger, when working as tab hard to mach present standards, same with phone, it is nice that u can charge up from tab station but u simply must have it with :-)-low wi-fi rangeFor that class and price was expecting bit more and tab station is totally useless without phonerest is fine, nice gadget, rare product, but not cheap, hard to get original accesoriesRegards all electronic maniacs! :-)

Asus Padfone 2 32GB Taiwan Edition

I have read several reviews on this product and now after purchasing my Padfone 2 from Taiwan directly some time ago I feel able to provide a pretty definative review myself. So, is this the best handset on the market? No. Is the tablet the best tablet on the market? No but together - they make an outstanding combo. Be clear here, you need to be able to keep your tablet with you to get the best out the handset, if you a travel a lot in particular this is a perfect setup. ALSO unlike some so called reviewers who compare these to buying a tablet and a phone (Nexus), the whole point is here "ONE DATA PLAN!" Plus, how many tablets out there are 4G? This is.... Its fast and so far appears to be quite strong and I've had it a while. I am much happier now I use handset out of a case as its lovely and slim and DOES feel premium and I should know ( I also have a Motorola RAZR, Atrix, Samsung Galaxy Note 1 & 2 and my wife has an iPhone 5). I keep the tablet in a quilted Macbook Air case when Im out and about, makes a nice base as it would wobble on its back. The docking operation is faultless and boots up screen in seconds. THe sound is good if not extroadinary as is the camera although it certainly should be at 13mp. Both are acceptable but lets hope software updates sort these out. I really dont need two premium phones like the Note 2 and the Padfone 2 but I am having a hard time deciding which one to get rid off. IF you commute / travel a lot, then the Padfone wins handsdown, thats my verdict - I never tire of the reaction when I connect the two together as its so rare I have never seen anyone else with one. I havent got one yet but you can also purchase a Stylus that looks like a pen that you can answer your calls on when table and phone are secured on your person, HOW COOL IS THAT!!!
