Best phone ive had.

Really impressed with phone. I always buy my handset outright and then use a sim only. But the depreciation on mobiles is like a new car so i decided to go for the cheapest with best performance i could.Pros:* Cheap (relative to others)..can be sourced very cheap if you look around.* Good connection...i have found better connection generally with it compered to my old HTC.* Screen v.good* Fast browsing and all other interaction* ICS is a good phone platform, no idea if huawei will update to JB but frankly i'm bothered as it does everyhting required, i have a JB device and the overall differences are not worth specifically aiming for JB (IMHO).* No overlay (like sense etc) so there is virtually no bloatware or non-essential software in the way. What is provided (like the huawei file manager for example is very good and all works well)...really great that they have left all the guff out!* DNLA app included (not used yet)* Compered to my wifes all singing all dancing Galaxy S3 i actually prefer it because is more stripped down and much less fussy* Love the styling...looks completely unique and weighs virtually nothingCons:* The native huawei keyboard is excellent (better than the stock android) but the spelling prediction and corrections does not work* Internal battery.....could become a problem as it ages.* Dislike the location of on/off button (picking)Overall really impressed, great kit. Unless you 'must' have a well know brand then this is for you.

Surprisingly Good

I went from a Galaxy Nexus to this phone and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality.Though the screen isn't HD it is bright, colours are vibrant and even though it has a lower PPI than my previous phone, I struggle to see much difference.The phone is slim and light and fits nicely in the hand. The unibody build has a quality feel and visually it is appealing.Though you're stuck with Android Ice Cream Sandwich - Huawei have no plans to release a Jelly Bean update for this phone - the UI is responsive, everything is smooth and the phone doesn't struggle noticeably with games.Camera is good, though the auto focus a little jumpy at times.I think the phone is still perhaps a little overpriced especially with the Ascend P2's impending arrival but overall you will feel like you've got your money's worth

I have had this phone for the last 2 days now, coming from a Blackberry my time with Android was many years ago so had to 'somewhat' Re-Aquent myself with it.I have to say, I wouldn't usually go for a brand which isn't in the competitors lists, but from the moment I tried this phone in the mobile phone shop I was taken. The colours are vivid, the speed is fast, and the sound quality is simply quite good for a smartphone speaker.The quality of the 8 megapixel camera, is not too bad. Colours tend to be a bit bright at times, as well as on the 1080p video recording.The phone has a qhd display, which is not Full HD, but the phone does support 720p and 1080p videos, you just wont be watching on a HD screen.The phone is very aesthetically pleasing, and is the slimmest smartphone on the market I believe, it is made using the same screen as Samsung use, gorilla glass and Super AMOLED.The reason why I did not rate the phone higher is because I think it is a tiny bit overpriced for this Chinese firms first true array into the smartphone realm.Great phone, recommended. And as you can see, it is on offer so slightly better priceGarry
