My FIrst Smart Phone

I bought this phone mainly for the option of 2 SIMs and the GPS map feature in December 2012. I have not been able to obtain a second SIM and the maps do not work well where I live in Pakistan. They only find your location when there is a wi-fi connection which is not much use in a remote area. The most frustrating feature about the phone is the small keyboard which I find almost impossible to use accurately with large fingers. The voice recognition software for writing an SMS works very well as long as you have a wi-fi connection. The camera and video also work well but you have to load Kies to transfer files to a Windows PC. Generally I do not find the phone intuitive. For example to send a contact name by SMS you cannot insert it into a text, you have to find the contact, click and hold, then click 'send contact information' and then select the contact that you want to send it to. If the person you are calling sounds too quiet you can only increase the in-call volume by using the volume control while actually making the call and there is nothing in the manual to tell you this. I am impressed by the music player that seems to give a good sound for the size of the device with no noticable background hiss. If you are considering purchase I would strongly recommend that you try out the keyboard before you buy as it drives me up the wall, especially when in a hurry.
