amazing phone

I recently purchased the N9 (not from amazon) but felt compelled to write a review regardless. The build quality of the phone is amazing and the screen quality is the best ive come across. Easily on par with iphone 4 and samsung galaxy s2. The software is fast, fluid, stable and the multitasking is second to none. Call quality is very good and battery life is very impressive. Has easily lasted me upto a whole day with regular email sync (every 20mins), 2 hours of music playback, half hours of web browsing and an hour of the obligatory angry birds. Music playback is loud and clear. I do miss having an equaliser though. Ovi maps on the phone is second to none and locks GPS very fast.The phone was easy to update with the new firmware via the PC. Only downside is the app store. I' ve personally found all the apps i would need but the store is a little bare in terms of support.Would highly recommend this phone. Nokia would definitely be onto a winner if they actually fully supported this handset. Its an amazing phone.

I will start off by saying this phone is not everyone.For me it was the best purchase I have made for a phone, I got no regrets.If you want a phone that is unique and has something new and fresh N9 is the best pick.It won't blow you away with thousands upon thousands of apps but it has plenty of them.At the end of the day I really like my N9

Not bad at all but delicate and no battery life

It slowly grew on me. The camera could be better- photos didn't seem different from my Nokia 6700 which it replaced.After a bit of tweaking it works quite nicely. Most negative point is the calendar doesn't integrate with Mac calendars.Still, I teach and all my students have endless broken Iphone screens. Not with this Nokia armed with aptly named Gorilla glass...... Not so gorilla. It broke and replacement screen not replacable. Given up Nokia and gone for SAMSUNG.
