I HAVE OWNED ONE OF THESE FOR YEARS. IT IS ULTRA-RELIABLE. GOOD AERIAL AND SOUND. IT REMINDS YOU OF MESSAGES ON IT SO YOU DO NOT MISS THESE. I HAVE READ THE ENTRY "RUBBISH" AND IT IS GROSSLY MISLEADING AND WRITTEN BY SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT WANT TO USE HIS ITEM CORRECTLY. ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE HAD IS DOWNLOADING TO MY PC OF IMAGES BUT IT WILL BE MY LACK OF NERD

Cant beat it!

Whats not to like. Only one thing low battery life. I live with it and have done for 2 years or so. It still looks as good as new the phone. I love it. Its kind of special it has a good memory 2gb loads of stuff stored on it. Its easy easy easy to use you wont be disappointed. I have ordered another for when they stop making it. I have used touch screen but have gone back to my good old faithful. It feels good looks stunning and is a dream to have. You can silence it, have it remind you if you want to if you miss a message loads of choices. Stunning stunning screen and the pad is a dream to text on. took me a while to get use to the Predictive texting but once you have done so for a while its fine. Love it. The V9 is an awful phone so dont even think about it. Shame they have stopped making the V8 and will keep one in store for when and if mine packs up. Stunning...

Had an old V550 past 8 year that was breaking up by now, and got touch screen Nokia that just left me frustrated. The V8 is excellant, especially the reminder beep - one don't have to keep looking at your phone for messages, the phone works for you. Also the finger feedback of pressing a button (rather than touch screen) helps with typing. Front display with quick keys and quick replies very efficient.Basically a brilliant thought out phone that works for you as opposed to the other way. Battery life limited and a routine overnight charge will keep it going.I hope Motorolla never goes out business
